Baseball has been at San Quentin since the 1920’s. Since 1994, SQ Baseball has welcomed teams from the outside to play their incarcerated ball club. Of the 6,000 inmates, the SQ baseball club consists of 24 individuals.

The Pels will play modern baseball in this nine inning match. Unfortunately there are no spectators allowed during the match. However, any BAVBB ballists that would be interested in potentially joining our squad as a Pels alternate for this game can reach out through the “Contact Us” page.
